This is GradEX 106, the work of graduating students in OCADU’s Graphic Design and Illustration program. My apologies to the few students whose work I inadvertently missed.

Also at the Bentway is an art installation called ‘Playing in Public‘. This is part of ArtworxTO, Toronto’s year of public art 2021-2022. Three of the installations are shown below – they will remain at the Bentway until 26th September 2021.

Wow some great photos here. I have to head down to the Bentway. Glad you got a picture of the Palace Arms Hotel. I hear they’re looking to demolish it unfortunately. (hope I’m wrong) I actually visited your website for the photos of Honest Eds. Really miss that place and the photos brought back a lot of memories.
Thanks for the comment! There is no development notice sign on the Palace Arms Hotel (that I saw) but yes it is going to be redeveloped. I think that there have arguments and debates over the type of condo to be built there but I suspect that it will be glass and steel rising above the present structure. 14 storeys? There is also supposed to be a number (60?) bachelor apartments of affordable housing. At least that’s what I read online this evening.
I drove past the Honest Eds site a couple of weeks ago but decided not to walk that area just yet. Soon!
I really like Big Red
