It’s Pride weekend here in Toronto with its many activities including the usual parades.  Yesterday was the Dyke March.

    I love your street photography and the candid expressions on people’s faces. There are so many to like, but I think my favourite is the young woman holding up the sign ‘we are proud’. I love the expression on her face … I don’t even know how to describe it.

      Focus on a person and hope they cooperate – add a lot of luck and sometimes interesting pictures are the result! I’ve always liked shooting parades (and especially pride) because people are usually happy and expressive and very willing to be photographed.
