As promised a few blog posts ago, I went back to take more photos of the now complete mural on the underpass on Lawrence Avenue just west of Caledonia.  It was painted by Essencia Art Collective (Shalak Attack, Fiyabruxa and Brunosmoky).

    They are such powerful artists, separately or collectively. I think they’ve worked under a different collective name in the past, Los Banditos comes to mind but that could be total invention. All three also created the trestle murals at Bright St. & Queen E., commissioned for the Pan Am Games

      Clandestinos is probably the word you were trying to think of. Another of their murals for the Pan Am Games is where the 401 hwy passes over the Humber River on what is now known as the Pan Am Path.
