There’s a building near King and Strachan that is adjacent to an alley.  The alley side of that building has been painted in many, many, squares and rectangles of different colours and as a result, it looks like like a giant mosaic.

Although there is a certain sameness to these pictures, here’s a sample of the doors, windows, and wall in that alley.

  1. Have you noticed that there are several automobiles depicted in the crazy colours?

No I hadn’t noticed! I wondered if there was a pattern, or any shapes within the squares but I will admit to not taking the time to figure it out. How many automobiles are there? I’ll take another look at my photos and see if anything pops out.

I think this wall is a great piece of street art, unfortunately I haven’t found out the artist’s name.

There are about seven or eight automobiles depicted on the wall. I had walked past that wall several times over the past three or four years without noticing the cars. One day I spent a bit more time looking carefully and saw them pop out.

You can see them in this composite I have on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/designwallah/48519983601/

Cool! You’ve made the cars quite visible. On the second image in ths blog you can see the back of a blue car including the wheel. Maybe because I focused on the wheels I missed the cars?
