Martin House, Buffalo

Buffalo New York – Darwin Martin House, February 2015

Designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright between 1903 and 1905.
Interior photographs were not allowed.
The snow was very deep so I could only go where pathways were shoveled.

The site is actually five buildings. The first one built is pictured below. It became known as the Barton House as it was home to Darwin Martin’s sister Delta and her husband George Barton. It was built as a ‘test’ before Darwin Martin hired Frank Lloyd Wright to construct a larger house for himself and his family.
